Screening for Pregnancy Specific Anxiety
Many pregnant people experience anxiety. Reliable and valid tools are helpful in detecting various mental health issues including anxiety. The Pregnancy-Specific Anxiety Tool (PSAT) is a validated tool to screen for pregnancy-specific anxiety that was developed in British Columbia, Canada, by Dr. Bayrampour and colleagues.
In this research, we aim to examine the practicality of online screening for pregnancy-specific anxiety and its implications for perinatal outcomes. Any pregnant person 19 years of age or older with a singleton pregnancy, < 24 weeks’ gestation, living in British Columbia, and with access to the Internet is eligible to participate. People are not eligible to participate if they have self-harm or other harm ideations, psychosis, personality disorders, or bipolar disorders.
Thank you for your interest in participating! The recruitment period for this study has now ended, and we are no longer accepting new participants at this time.
