Alice Luan, UBC Psychology Honours Candidate

Alice Luan is a Research Assistant with the Perinatal Wellbeing Research Team within the Midwifery Program in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She is a fourth-year Psychology Honours student at UBC and is interested in the impact of positive and negative daily experiences on aging and well-being. Alice hopes to further her studies at the graduate level and pursue a career in health research. Outside of the lab, she enjoys painting, baking, and going for walks with her dog.

Nazanin Sadoughian, UBC Behavioural Neuroscience Candidate

Nazanin is a Research Assistant with the Perinatal Wellbeing Research Team within the Midwifery Program in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She is currently a fifth-year UBC Behavioural Neuroscience student. Nazanin’s research interests lie in mood disorders and mental health, with a particular emphasis on understanding their development, neurobiological mechanisms, and potential therapies. In her spare time, Nazanin enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
